Trivia 42 and 9 Months Old Birthday

We have been spending the weekend at the Pagliara's playing in the Trivia contest and Claire turned 9 months old.  We have her well visit tomorrow.

Road Trip to Nate, Lori, and Liam's

We packed the car crossed our fingers that our little Claire's cold was getting better.  The week leading up to our trip she had been miserable with her first fever.  Then we hit the road.  We left at bedtime and made it to our friends Mike and Becky in Chicago with little trouble.  Then we left for the final leg to Rochester Hills, MI the next morning.  Claire was a rock star she took two naps we stopped for lunch and with me in the back seat playing with her we made it with no meltdowns.  We spent the next four days hanging out with a mildly sick Claire and a super cute 13 month old Liam.  They got along great and Liam really liked that we brought Buster.  I think my favorite part of the trip was seeing Liam and Claire finally old enough to play and interact with each other.  Enjoy some pics.

8 month update

So Claire has been 8 months for a while now but life has been a little busy to get a blog up.  We have been down to Madison for Canoecopia, practiced our kayak rolling up in Wausau, and Claire got sick again.  We actually just went into the doctor to see if it was more than a bad cold and luckily that is all it is.  They tested her for strep and since she was wheezing a bit and one lung sounded a bit different than they other Claire had her first X-ray of her chest to check for pneumonia.  We are supposed to head on a spring break trip to see my brother in Rochester Hills, MI tomorrow night but may post pone it a day or two if she isn't feeling better.

Claire has also cut her two teeth on either side of the two bottom ones so she is up to 8 teeth already, she also can say ma ma which is nice since da da has been a favorite for over a month now.  Here are a few pictures.  Enjoy.

Be my Valentine

7 months old

Claire is yet another month older and still cute as ever.  She loves it when we help her stand and sits up on her own so well now (still doesn't roll over yet though).  She has learned a new sound 'ba' and practices it all the time.  She is eating solids a lot better now and when we went in for her flu booster shot today we weighed her and she has gained over a pound in a month!  Here are a few new pics.

Super Bowl Champs!

We stayed home to watch the big super bowl game since Claire would need to be going to bed by half time.  So we decked out in our Packer gear (lets be honest Claire wore it every day that week because that is what she did leading up to the NFC championship game and we won so we didn't want to change anything) and settled in for the night.  Bryan and i are also convinced that the Packers kept winning because of the matching sweatshirts we got from Grandma Burt and wore for every game of the playoffs and then of course the super bowl game.  They are magic and you better believe we will be wearing them next year and the year after that and the year after that...
