11 months old

So we are in the home stretch to the one year mark.  Claire has grown up so much in the past month.  She is crawling like she has been doing it forever and is pulling her self up on whatever she can find and is even bending over to pick stuff off the floor.  We have been introducing more chunky foods with minimal success but I'm sure it will get better with time.  Most of the day is a joy with Claire but we still struggle with bedtime and her wanting to stand in her crib and cry instead of go to sleep...hopefully this is a phase since she is so into standing right now in general.  Enjoy this months photo shoot.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a blast this past weekend.  My dad came and took Claire to the park then we hit the road to spend the night at Grandma Burts house.  The next day we hit the road again to a friends BBQ in Stoughton.  Oh and Claire is officially crawling!!!  enjoy the pictures.

Alissa's Bridal Shower

We had a great time last weekend hosting Alissa's Bridal Shower and then heading out to a local spa for her bachelorette party.  It was nice to meet the ladies on Nick's side and spend some quality time with my family as well.

10 month photo shoot

Sorry for being so slow at getting these pictures posted but better late than never.  Some highlights from this month include Claire saying Oh-O and 'Na' sound.  She is also getting close to crawling. She has progressed from her little butt spin to dragging herself forward on her knees with legs crossed under her.  So i think we will have a full fledged crawler soon.  Enjoy the pictures...she was in a goofy mood :)

Mother's Day 2011

Claire and I are celebrating a lovely Mother's day together along with Bryan and Buster of course :)  We packed up the family and headed out this morning to the dog park in town.  We have never been there before and Buster was in heaven.  Claire enjoyed watching them all as well.  Then we headed over to an awesome park to enjoy the nice weather and see how Claire liked the infant swings and other stuff.  She loved it and even liked going down the slide (dad holding her of course).  Then we had a lunch date at Hilltop.  Claire was getting a bit fussy at the end and fell asleep on the way home...so the family had a much needed hour nap!  Enjoy the pictures.

We had a great weekend back in Hudson visiting family, coloring eggs, going on an easter egg hunt and attending church on Sunday.  Enjoy the pictures.
