22 months old

It is hard to believe that in less than 2 months Claire will be 2 already.  She is very interested in repeating words we say and asking us to identify things for her in books and the world around her.  She continues to be a bit shy at first around new places or people but warms up quickly.  Potty training has started but we are letting her lead the way and and have had only a couple of success but it is a start.  We went swimming today and at first she was a bit hesitant but by the end she was walking around by herself in the water.  She really enjoys the slides and the sandbox at the playground these days...now i just need to figure out how to get her to stop throwing sand up in the air :)  This past month we have played trivia, been to both Madison for me to run Crazylegs and back to Hudson to celebrate Heather  graduating medical school and visit friends that have a new baby.  So this mothers day weekend we are hanging out at home and enjoying the nice weather.  Here are some pictures.

18 month photo shoot

We had another photo shoot with Jen in honor of Claire turning a year and a half.  She also weighed in at 26 lbs (75%) and 33 inches tall (97%) at her doctors appointment.   She is growing up so fast.  Since her first birthday 6 months ago she has learned to walk, run, climb, spin, walk backwards, say more words and play ring around the rosy over and over and over again to name just a few things.
